Full Version: Brand Specific Dealer Searches
Our company makes several types (branded uniquely) of products, each with its own unique distribution channel. All of our sites are funneled through a single URL, but I want to know if I will be able to setup one search on one page to find dealers for brand A and setup a different search on a different page to locate dealers for brand B. Will your software do this? Does it require more than one license? Please advise.
Hello, with v2.5.3 you can do this, with the use of 'User Fields Searching'. Each record would have to have a code or trigger in each User 1 field. Such as CompA or CompB.
Then you can add a hidden form tag to each of your pages, that would send over which value you want to match in the User 1 field.
Example:
Search a 100 mile radius for any location with a 'CompB' in the user 1 field. And it will only show locations that match 'Both' criteria.
