When I try to import database via csv format it took but only took 19 record (we have a thousand or so record) then wen we view it in the tools location in the database I see these {favicon} in front of the record any idea how to get rid of it?

The favicon will get displayed when the value of the PREF field is off.

v2.5 should have a 1, 2, 3 or 4 value only.

v1.0 - v2.4 should have a 0 or 1 value only.

Any other value in this field is not supported, and therefore will cause undesired results.

Check your import file and make sure your have all records set as a 4, and then go through and highlight any special records that you want ranked higher, with a 1, 2 or 3 value.
