I would love this feature.. I do not belive it needs to be as complicated as encrypted user names & passwords.. I think if the lister has the record number, the listers name & email address as originally entered matching exactly, then they should be allowed to get in and edit. Adding the Record ID to a notice email is simple, I have already done this as well as adding the lister to who gets the email when the record is added. I edited the notice email so that the wording is more thanking the lister and telling them how to request edits and to hold on to this info as the Record ID will be needed along with the original listers email address to make any edits.

You know they will lose their record number. They will accidentally delete the email, have a system crash, not write it down, etc. Even the most web savvy of users make mistakes, and most people aren't that web savvy.... Nice idea though!
